Our history

Micro Air, Inc. was founded in 1985 as an asbestos testing laboratory by Dr. Morris L.V. French, an Indiana University Medical Center professor and recognized epidemiologist, microbiologist and industrial hygienist. After seeing a need for knowledgeable experts in the asbestos field, Micro Air, Inc. soon expanded its range of expertise to include asbestos management, monitoring and survey work. Because of increased demand for solutions to indoor air quality and health problems, Micro Air, Inc. began offering a wide range of services in the area of indoor air quality, mold testing, industrial hygiene, water testing, radon testing, and lead testing. Now highly accredited by multiple accrediting bodies, Micro Air and it’s laboratory are dedicated to providing consulting and testing services to residential, commercial, and industrial clients in Indianapolis and nationwide.
