Our Laboratory
Micro Air, Inc.’s full-service laboratory has been dedicated to providing quality environmental analysis for over 20 years. Our laboratory specializes in microbiology, asbestos, radon, and water analysis.
Our Microbiology Laboratory is fully accredited by the AIHA Laboratory Accreditation Programs, LLC (AIHA LAP) for both Industrial Hygiene and Environmental Microbiology (Laboratory ID: LAP-100951). We became the first microbiology laboratory in the state of Indiana to receive accreditation through the AIHA LAP's Environmental Microbiology Laboratory Accreditation Program (EMLAP).
Our Asbestos Laboratory is accredited by the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST), National Voluntary Laboratory Accreditation Program (NVLAP) for bulk asbestos analysis. (Lab Code: 101221-0).
Micro Air, Inc. is also a certified Radon Analytical Laboratory by the National Radon Proficiency Program (NRPP ID# 103229-AL).
We are also certified by the Indiana State Department of Health, Water Microbiology Certification Program (Lab #: M-49-5) for microbiological water analysis.
